A major Greenbank residential estate has officially sold out, underscoring continued buyer demand for larger blocks and master-planned communities in Logan’s south-west growth corridor.
AVID Property Group and Greenfields Development Company have announced the sellout of Covella, a 1566-block community positioned near schools, shopping centres, public transport and major growth areas.
AVID executive general manager Bruce Harper, chairman of the joint venture with Greenfields, said Covella’s block sizes, location and access to green space had helped drive demand.
Mr Harper said the project had attracted strong interest from first-home buyers and families, with buyers looking beyond Brisbane for more space and affordability.
“Since acquiring the project in 2019, more than 50 per cent of enquiries have come from first home buyers,” Mr Harper said.
“As more homebuyers look beyond Brisbane, the booming Brisbane-Ipswich corridor is having its moment, with buyers drawn to the accessibility and block size available in Logan — an offering not possible at the same price point in Brisbane.
“Covella offers families the best of both worlds with large blocks only moments away from schools, transport links, shopping hubs and entertainment, while remaining connected to nature with one third of the community dedicated to green space.”
The Greenbank estate is located near Pub Lane’s Greenbank Shopping Centre, Browns Plains Grand Plaza and Orion Springfield Central.
It is set among 50 hectares of green bushland.
The sellout comes as Logan continues to experience strong residential and commercial growth, particularly in its southern and western growth areas.
The last households to join Covella are expected to move in from January 2027, with the district playing fields due to be completed in May 2026.
