A Kingston man, 20, is due to reappear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 18 May after being charged over an alleged hooning incident in Hemmant earlier this year that left several people seriously injured.
Police allege the man was involved in a gathering of cars linked to hooning activity across Brisbane and Moreton in the early hours of 8 March before the group met in an industrial area at Hemmant.
Police allege a blue Ford Falcon was doing burnouts when it caught fire with four people inside.
All four occupants suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
A Woolloongabba man, 20, reportedly spent a month in hospital and underwent multiple surgeries for a critical leg injury.
The Kingston man has been charged with dangerous driving and driving without a licence.
A Woombye man, 24, has also been charged with dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, driving while disqualified and participating in hooning group activity.
Police allege he was driving the Falcon at the time.
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 25 May.
The charges come as police continue investigations linked to Operation X-Ray Antler, a long weekend crackdown on alleged hooning activity across Brisbane and Ipswich between 2 and 3 May.
Police say more than 30 vehicles linked to an alleged hooning event were disrupted during the operation, with four vehicles allegedly involved in hooning behaviour.
Eight people have been charged with offences including drug possession, stealing wheels, disguising their face with intent to commit an indictable offence, possessing tainted property, unlicensed driving and drug driving.
Two Ford Falcons were seized during the operation and officers issued 66 traffic infringement notices, including 22 for allegedly spectating at hooning activity and 19 for speeding.
Police are continuing investigations into the alleged hooning event and a separate incident on the Gateway Bridge where a vehicle allegedly evaded officers before being stopped by highway patrol units.
