Police have arrested a man after a hotel in Underwood was allegedly broken into earlier this morning, 23 April.
Police said two masked men allegedly forced their way into a licensed premises on Kingston Road at around 8.30am by smashing a glass door.
Staff inside the venue allegedly saw the men and locked themselves in a room, police said.
There was no direct contact between staff and the alleged offenders, police said.
The two men allegedly took a sum of money before leaving in two separate vehicles.
No one was physically injured.
Following investigations, police said they located a ride-share car travelling through Loganlea.
A 24-year-old man from Acacia Ridge was arrested on Loganlea Road and taken into custody.
Investigations are continuing.
