Seven years ago, Julie and her family moved to Belivah for a balance that can be hard to find; a home immersed in nature but still within easy reach of both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
As Julie prepares to sell 19 Manderson Court, she said the mix of seclusion and convenience remained its biggest drawcard.
“It feels a bit remote, but you can still get to the freeway easily,” she said. “It’s convenient for getting to Brisbane, the Gold Coast and even the airport.
“With work, I needed to be between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, so it was ideal.”
Set on 5570sqm, the property offers space without sacrificing accessibility.
Over their time there, the family updated the home to better suit modern living.
Renovations included retiling the front area, upgrading both bathrooms and the laundry, and installing a new dishwasher and stove within the past six months.
“When we moved in, the bathrooms were pretty outdated, so we modernised them to make things more convenient,” Julie said.
She said the home’s standout feature was its elevated deck overlooking the surrounding bushland.
“It has a really beautiful panoramic view of the rainforest and birdlife,” she said. “It’s very tranquil.”
Julie said the family regularly used the space for entertaining and outdoor meals, making the most of the quiet setting.
The property has drawn interest from a mix of buyers, particularly families looking for room to move.
“It’s a very family-friendly area,” she said.
Julie said the size of the block was another key advantage.
“We wanted some land, but we didn’t want to be rural where we couldn’t get to things,” she said.
She described the neighbourhood as connected but not intrusive.
“Everybody pretty much knows what’s going on in the neighbourhood,” she said.
“We’ve loved living there; it’s been a really good home for us.”
