Students compete for scholarship

STUDENTS currently in Year 3 or 4 were last weekend invited to sit for a potential scholarship at King’s Christian College Logan Village.
Scholarships were open to all students, regardless of where they are currently studying.
Any student named a scholarship recipient would have their tuition fees covered right through to Year 12.
There was one academic scholarship offered to a student who would be starting in Year 4 next year and another starting in Year 5 next year.
“King’s Christian College has provided exceptional, affordable Christian education to children for 40 years,” King’s Christian College Logan Village head of primary Peter Fossey said.
“Last year King’s established our Logan Village campus which is thriving and currently caters for students in Prep to Year 4. Each year, a new year level will be added until we reach Year 12 in 2029.
“King’s works in partnership with parents in the education of your children. We believe your child is unique, precious and endowed with special talents. Our goal is to help your child achieve their God-given potential.
“As part of our commitment to nurturing the talents of individual students, King’s Christian College Logan Village offers a limited number of academic scholarships to students within our school community as well as the wider community.
“Scholarship recipients are expected to commit to the life and values of the school, demonstrate active leadership and contribute fully to the academic and co-curricular programs.”
