Ride-share driver’s car stolen at gun-point, Slacks Creek

A ride-share driver has had his car stolen in an armed robbery at Slacks Creek this morning, according to police.

Police said the driver, 23, was driving two men to Fir Court at about 2am in his white 2023 Haval – with Queensland registration plates ‘722JW5’.

“Upon arrival at the address, one of the men threatened the driver with what appeared to be a firearm, before the pair stole his vehicle,” a police statement read.

“The driver was not physically injured during the incident.”

Investigations continue.
