A man has been shot in what police claim was a “targeted” daytime shooting outside a Slacks Creek home.
Police, who say there is no threat to the public, are now searching for three offenders who fled the scene.
Emergency services were called to Kingston Road to reports of a street disturbance at around 8.19am on 21 September, according to a Queensland Police Service statement.
A 35-year-old man who was shot was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Three others, two men and a woman in their 20s, were last seen leaving the area on foot, according to police.
“The incident is believed to be targeted and there is no threat to the public,” the statement read.
“Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone vision within the vicinity from 8am, to come forward.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
