Submissions for the Flagstone Favourites Local Business Awards, Business Excellence awards will open on 30 June.
Businesses local to Flagstone can self-submit an application to be considered for the awards, as can members of the public.
Peet Development Director for Flagstone, the organisation running the awards, Troy Thompson, said the awards were a great opportunity for Flagstone businesses and the community.
“These awards recognise the businesses that sit at the heart of Flagstone, providing essential services, creating local jobs, and fostering a community for all,” Mr Thompson said.
“The outcomes from last year’s awards were incredibly positive for both the individual businesses and the broader Flagstone community. We heard directly from winners how the recognition translated into increased customer engagement and new opportunities.”
Submissions for the People’s Choice category have already closed, but members of the public can still vote for a business in the Business Excellence category.
“The thousands of public votes for the People’s Choice awards also highlighted just how much Flagstone residents value and champion their local enterprises, reinforcing our belief that strong local businesses are fundamental to a strong community,” Mr Thompson said.
“We encourage all Flagstonians to vote because it’s a direct way to show support for the local businesses that serve our community every day.
“Their votes directly contribute to the success and recognition of these enterprises, fostering a stronger local economy and reinforcing the Flagstonian community spirit.”
The awards, a Peet Flagstone initiative, are also supported by the Flagstone Social Business Network, the Logan Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Flagstone Tavern.
