A new KFC restaurant has officially opened in Yarrabilba, bringing 49 new job opportunities to the area.
Located at 1 Mill St, Yarrabilba, the fast-food chain’s latest outlet is led by Restaurant General Manager Travis Zischke, who has been with KFC for 15 years.
Assistant restaurant Managers Ashley Edwards and Renee Perawiti will also be part of the leadership team.
Mr. Zischke said the new restaurant would provide employment opportunities and skill development for local workers.
“We’re thrilled to welcome 49 new team members into the KFC family, providing a significant number of jobs to the local area,” he said.
“We’re passionate about building a strong and confident team to ensure we provide both the best customer service possible and quality Kentucky Fried Chicken to the people of Yarrabilba.”
The new restaurant will offer delivery services in addition to dine-in and takeaway options.
According to KFC, employees will have access to training programs, including digital and in-person learning, to support their career development.
The company also offers opportunities for further education, including a Diploma of Leadership and Management.
