A community information session aimed at helping seniors navigate energy discounts and hardship programs has been rescheduled following recent weather disruptions.
The Energy4Seniors series, hosted by Logan Libraries in collaboration with The Association of Residents of Queensland Retirement Villages (ARQRV) and the Council on the Ageing (COTA Queensland), provides information on rebates, financial assistance, and dispute resolution services through the Energy and Water Ombudsman.
Sessions have been running for the past month, with an additional date added for Beenleigh Library due to Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
The session will now take place this Friday, 28 March.
Bookings are required and can be made online at lccqld.com/Energy4Seniors.
