A search warrant executed at a 97-acre property in Mundoolun has resulted in the seizure of illegal firearms, ammunition, and stolen vehicles.
Approximately 50 police officers and 30 State Emergency Service personnel were involved in the operation, which lasted more than 11 hours in tough conditions.
“Police seized seven unlawful firearms, 1,200 rounds of ammunition, and eight stolen vehicles from the property,” a police statement said.
A man has been remanded in custody on 28 charges in relation to the findings.
