Greenbank Services Club gets a makeover

The first stage of renovations to the Greenbank Services Club is complete.

Following months of construction, the club now features a redesigned reception foyer and a refurbished Gardens Steak and Seafood room.

This room leads up a new staircase to the Top Deck, which offers views of the neighbouring Memorial Gardens.

The club’s bingo room has also been transformed, and staff have a new staff room.

Stage two of redevelopment at club began in April this year, will include upgrades to the Barrel Room and gaming lounge, kids play zone, and kitchen among other places.

The club’s general manager, Tim Wright, said the renovations would take around 14 months to complete.

“The renovations include refurbishing 90 per cent of the club facilities as well as adding a considerable new floor space which will showcase a new bar and lounge called the Glasshouse and Sunroom,” he said.

“Two large feature copper brite tanks will highlight the Barrel Room precinct and the dining experience will be elevated in the Marketplace dining precinct where six outlets will feature your favourite dishes from around the world.”

The project is expected to be complete early next year.
