Agents say 474 Springwood Rd, Daisy Hill is a home for those chasing the Mount Tamborine lifestyle.
“Without actually living in Mount Tamborine,” sales agent Jack Shine said.
The 1900sqm property boasts plenty of garden and a cozy A-frame, cabin-style home.
Mr Shine’s sister and sales-partner at Zevesto Springwood, Hannah Shine, said the property was very unique.
“A two-bedroom house on a block that size is not very common, especially built the way it is,” Ms Shine said.
“The A-frame build and the materials it is made of are not cheap at all anymore – it’s made of cypress pine, which is very expensive.
“The whole property has a really unique feel.”
Mr Shine said the location was “really hard to beat”.
Ms Shine agreed.
“It feels like you’re in the woods, the gardens are magnificent, and that road is really sought after to live on,” Ms Shine said.
“People love that street.”
They said the property had a lot of “emotional value”, making it the perfect buy for an owner-occupier.
“It feels like a home, it’s very warm, so I don’t think it’s an investment property – I think it’s for someone who wants a lifestyle,” Mr Shine said.
Ms Shine said they haven’t put a price on property because “it’s so different”.
She said there was “literally nothing” that compared to it.
“A lot of people don’t want standard homes, they’re getting sick of the new builds,” she said.
They predicted the property would sell well at auction on 6 April, mainly because it’s “so unique”.
“Those sorts of properties get better results,” Mr Shine said.
“We sold an Eagleby property that was very different to everything else – a three-bedroom, two-bath house – for $800,000.
“It’s because it was so unique and had so much charm.”
