A 45-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another man on Sunday (10 March) night.
Police say emergency services were called to a Wagner Street property at around 6:55pm following reports that a man had been stabbed.
“Upon arrival, officers located a 46-year-old man who had sustained serious injuries and was subsequently transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital,” a police statement said.
A 45-year-old Eagleby man was taken into custody at the scene.
He has since been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in a public place, going armed so as to cause fear.
