A quiet dinner turned dangerous last night (January 20) for a person in their 70s at Hillcrest.
The person was taken to Queen Elizabeth II Hospital suffering smoke inhalation after their stovetop caught fire.
The fire, at a house in Enford St, happened around 9pm.
A second person, also in their 70s, chose not to go to hospital.
