Carbrook, Cornubia and Berrinba have been named as some of the most difficult suburbs in the state to find a rental in.
A new report by MCG Quantity Surveyors listed the 4130 postcode, containing Carbrook and Cornubia, as the fifth least rent-accessible area in greater Brisbane.
Last December only three rentals were advertised between the two suburbs, out of a total 250 private rentals.
Berrinba, which falls under the 4117 postcode, was named as the ninth worst area with only five out of a total 302 rentals advertised.
According to the report, any rental market should have between “1 per cent and 2 per cent of its rental stock advertised at any time”.
The markets in both Carbrook and Cornubia, and Berrinba fall within this range.
