Logan’s newest brewery, Perentie Brewing Co, is opening its doors to the public this Saturday 16 December.
The $6 million facility is capable of brewing 1 million litres of beer and has an outdoor beer garden that can seat over 200 people.
Beer lovers and enthusiasts can taste Perentie’s three signature beers: Summer Dry (a mid-strength lager), Pure Crisp (clean crisp lager) and Komodo Black (dark lager) beers.
“We’re just so excited to finally serve up our brand of highly sessionable, authentic and quality lager beers – it’s been a long process that has led us to create a space and product that we are truly proud of, and ready to share with everyone,” Perentie founder Kenton Campbell said.
“We can’t wait to welcome visitors in to see our new space and try our beers from this weekend,” added Kenton.
The brewery is named after Australia’s largest monitor lizard, the Perentie, which is native to the outback.
The opening starts at 11am and goes till late.
