Foodtruck pop up night

For the past three months a group of five local food trucks have teamed up in Jimboomba to treat locals to a Food Truck Pop Up Night.

The coalition set up outside the Stihl Shop at 15-17 Tambourine St, on the third Thursday of each month.

The next pop-up is on 19 October, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

The five food trucks are:

  • Samurai Kitchen – Japanese cuisine – Karaage Chicken
  • Pippis Kai – NZ cuisine Soul Food
  • Twisted Sister – Tornado Potatoes
  • Fritz’s Weiner’s – Too Good to Share
  • Bubbo Deserts – Waffle Icecreams

“The thinking behind the pop up is to create a community vibe by locals for the locals,” Terry Maru from Pippis Kai said.

“And to experience a variety of cuisines for the whole family, or to pick up on your way home.”

He said the pop up could spread to other suburbs in Logan, if there was the demand for it.
