The Woodridge Police Beat recently hosted a Road Safety Week event at Logan Central Plaza to “remind road users of the importance of driving safely”.
The event was also support by several other departments and local businesses, including Harvey’s Towing who brought along a destroyed car to showcase one of the Fatal Five’s: speeding. The others are distraction, drink driving, fatigue and unrestrained behaviours.
“Stakeholders reported great engagement with members of the community and we also delivered Crime Prevention messaging by giving out anti-theft screws,” a police statement read.
