To celebrate Father’s Day this weekend with the whole family, head to Wineglass Park at Hillcrest for a double feature movie night.
The first film, Super Mario Bros movie, follows brothers Mario and Luigi as they are transported to the Mushroom Kingdom, where they join forces with Princess Peach to stop King Bowser’s villainous plans and save both their worlds.
The movie follows their journey, filled with unique creatures, challenges, and iconic Super Mario characters.
The second film, Daddy’s Home, is a comedy that follows the rivalry between two children’s stepfather, played by Will Ferrell, and their biological father, played by Mark Wahlberg, as they compete for the affection of the kids, resulting in a series of chaotic and funny situations.
The movie explores the dynamics of blended families and parenting in a light-hearted and entertaining way.
These screenings are on Saturday 2 September.
The event is free.
Attendees are asked to bring blankets, chairs or blow-up mattresses to sit on the hill under the Logan West water tower.
There will also be a sausage sizzle.
