Rail Trail information session

Logan City Council is hosting a Rail Trail Community Information Session on Saturday 29 July. The session will run from 9am to 12pm at the Logan Village Lions Club, and provide attendees with an opportunity to view the preliminary design for the trail and ask the project team any questions. There will be no formal presentation. On-site parking is available.

Family movie screening

A free screening of The Croods: A New Age will be held at Logan Village Green for the entire family on Friday 28 July. Guests have been asked to bring a chair or picnic blanket. A cup of popcorn will be provided for a gold coin donation, as well as a barbeque provided by the Logan Village Green Community Centre. The barbeque will begin at 5pm, and the movie at 5.30pm.

Farmer’s market

Distillery Road Market’s (DRM) new monthly Saturday Farmer’s Market is on this Saturday 29 July. Running from 7am to 12pm, the market will showcase food growers, small-batch producers and local artisans, as well as quality second hand, retro and vintage clothing and wares.
Entry is free. 124 Distillery Road, Eagleby.

Playgroup

Logan East Littlies Playgroup is on Monday 31 July for children aged zero to five years.
The playgroup is an opportunity to meet new families and children. It is held at the Logan East Community Neighbourhood Centre. Contact 07 3808 4529 or email admin@lecna.org.au

Scorpio Trio

Cover band The Scorpio Trio will be playing at Logan Diggers Services Club on Saturday 29 July. The setlist will include songs from Ed Sheeran, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse, Miley Cyrus, Abba, Bruno Mars, Neil Diamond, Madonna, Shania Twain, Van Morrison, The Eagles and many more. The show starts at 8pm.
