Update: Mr Guiton has been found safe.
Police want all people in Springwood to check their backyards for a missing man, John Guiton who was reported missing yesterday.
Mr Guiton is 75 and was last seen at 4pm when he went for a walk and has not contacted family or friends since.
Family hold concerns as Mr Guiton’s behaviour is out of character.
Mr Guiton, pictured, is described as Caucasian, about 188cm, slim build, with grey hair and a short grey beard.
He was last seen wearing a straw hat, blue jeans, black joggers and a checked shirt coloured blue, green and white.
Springwood locals are asked to check their yards, while police and and emergency services are also actively searching for Mr Guiton.
Police urge Mr Guiton or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact police.
