View from the village in rail train debate

In answer to the cowardly person who withheld their name in the letter to the Editor March 28-April 3 edition.
I. Both Logan City Council and Palm Lakes Management have stated categorically to our faces they will not be responsible for any security fences.
2.Therefore no security gates would be in place.
3. As there are now traffic lights on Albert Street, safety is ensured for all persons needing to go to the railway station, Bethania shops and community centre.
As to the comment of the “loud minority”, the over 800 residents pay for the privilege of caravan parking garden space and shortcuts in our rents, which ultimately get paid to the relevant authority.
As for maintained walking trails, one only has to look at the Logan Village/Yarrabilba trail to see graffiti, horse and dog manure, over growth and criminal activity to see how much maintenance is done. Photographic evidence is available.
Proud to put my name to my words.

Norma Harrington,

Resident of Palm Lake Resort.
