A man who was allegedly driving dangerously near bystanders in Crestmead and Beenleigh last night (Saturday, February 18), has had his car impounded.
Police also charged the man, a 23-year-old from Yarrabilba.
Police allege that around 10pm, the man was doing dangerous manoeuvres in an unregistered Ford Falcon.
He then tried to evade police and continued to drive dangerously until a tyre deflation device was used to stop the car, police said.
The vehicle was impounded and the man was charged with two counts of dangerous driving, drive unregistered vehicle, drive uninsured vehicle and evade police.
He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 3.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the vehicle driving dangerously or anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
