THERE was a spate of attempted robberies at Pub Lane in Greenbank yesterday.
Four businesses were broken into between 3.30am and 4am.
Police said four people attempted to break in to a grocery store, then smashed the front glass doors of three other businesses, stealing a cash register from one.
Detectives are appealing for information, asking anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam vision or noticed anything suspicious between 3.30am and 4am on Thursday (February 9) in the vicinity of Pub Lane, Teviot Road or the greater Greenbank area to come forward.
Police are investigating links to two similar offences that occurred at a carwash and a tavern in Greenbank between 3am and 4am the previous morning, Wednesday (February 8).
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
