POLICE from the Springwood and Rochedale South Police Beats are teaming up to tackle speeding motorists.
Recently, the team put the spotlight on road safety, conducting speed enforcement at the arterial roads and school zones throughout Springwood and Rochedale South.
Police note that the speed limits were generally being observed, but were disappointed to see so many drivers using their mobile phones while driving.
Police would like to remind the public to take care on the roads and to drive to the conditions in this upcoming storm season.
“We look forward to being out and about even more in coming weeks, and if you see us, don’t be afraid to say hi,” a police statement said.
