Mini resort in suburbia

A SPOT of golf before taking a dip in your own resort-style pool?

A glass of wine overlooking the treetops on the deck after taking your row boat for a paddle?

Sounds luxurious, but the market will decide whether a Springwood home has met the standard people want in a homestyle holiday resort.

The three-level house at La Senda Court has only recently hit the market.

The owners seem to have thought of everything to keep them at home, including their own backyard camping area with fireplace, fire pit and bushwalking tracks.

And it really does have its own golf driving range, inground pool, private dam and treetop views.

The house is built over three levels and sits on six acres, which is unusual for a property with so much space to be sitting in the middle of a growing suburban area.

Venita Daw from Shield Management said the owners have put a lot of love into the home.

“The owners’ circumstances have changed, which opens up the doors for a brand-new family to call this beautiful home theirs,” she said.

“With a large family the owners have really put a lot of love into this home, it holds precious memories for them and has a real family focus to it.”

Ms Daw said the owners wanted to create their own mini resort.

“With complete privacy in six acres of bushland it’s like you’re living in own resort and that’s what the owners were going for,” she said.

“With so many features and activities to do, it provides the perfect atmosphere to entertain or enjoy a quiet drink with family and friends.”

While the home is surrounded by quiet bushland, it’s also very close to all the amenities. It’s just three minutes away from John Paul College and Daisy Hill Sanctuary and five minutes from the Logan Hyperdome.

Along with a bar area, media room and pool house with adjoining bathroom, Ms Daw said the Springwood home also provides a perfect place to run a home business.

“The previous owners used to rent out office space to a business, so you do have the ability to work from home too,” she said.

“The home has a five-bay engineering workshop, a commercial vehicle hoist, three phase power and extensive networking so it could also suit a commercial business.”

With sustainability on the forefront, the property also features 12k of solar panels, a separate stand-alone solar system, chicken pen with spaces for free-range roaming, irrigation and underground piping, rainwater tanks and commercially designed agriculture and gardening spaces.
