I am a resident living at Palm Lake Resort Waterford, feeling very concerned about the possibility of a rail trail going through the two Palm Lake Resort communities, here in Waterford and Bethania.
I get the feeling Logan Council are going to forge ahead with their plans, despite the appeals from the residents to consider an alternate route outside our boundaries.
We have no objection to a trail in the area, but not to go through the two Palm Lake communities.
When I purchased my home nearly 15 years ago, I felt secure and safe as it was a gated resort. Now my feeling of uncertainty have changed to mental anxiety, how secure and safe will we be? My thoughts also query the noise factor, Â the litter, and horse poop. Who is going to monitor this?
