A Shailer Park man, 32, has been charged with attempted murder following the serious assault of a man in Logan on November 14.
At 3.15pm, officers conducted a welfare check on an injured man at an address on Quinzeh Creek Road. The 53-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police will allege the man suffered significant injuries after being assaulted with a sharp instrument that caused a severe laceration to his throat, as well as significant injuries to his chest, abdomen and head.
Police investigations are ongoing.
