New magistrate for Beenleigh

Beenleigh courthouse will have a new magistrate this week.

Patrina Clohessy was last Thursday appointed to her new position at Beenleigh Magistrates Court, which she started yesterday (Monday).

Ms Clohessy is currently a deputy crown solicitor and chief counsel with Crown Law.

She will start her new role after 25 years working in both the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and Crown Law.

“I warmly welcome our newest Queensland magistrates and wish them all the very best in their judicial careers,” Attorney-General and Waterford MP Shannon Fentiman said of four new appointments throughout the state.
