Council needs more interest in special people

A great editorial from My City Logan (July 19-25) regarding the plight of residents at Palm Lake Resort Bethania and Waterford.

To put a non-essential public roadway through an essential aged care private property, is like ramming a square peg into a round hole.

Sadly, this has been the ‘culture’ of this new Council for a few years now.

More interested in ‘Special Projects’ than ‘Special People’.

More interested in cutting ribbons, than red tape.

With the Mayor’s piece in the paper titled ‘Rail trail a great asset for our city’, it truly highlights Council’s ‘Projects over People’ mentality.

Mr Mayor we have an even greater asset for the City than a bike track, it’s called the people of Logan.  As Mayor, these people should be your GREATEST priority.
