Police investigate gun shot into car boot

AN 18-year-0ld driver had a bullet hole shot into his boot last night at Underwood.

Logan detectives are investigating the incident which happened at traffic lights on the corner of Compton Road near North Road at about 9pm.

Police said the driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer, from Wynnum West, was stopped at the lights when he heard a loud bang.

He pulled into a nearby service station where he saw the bullet hole in his car’s boot.

He was not physically injured.

Two cars were seen driving away from the scene, including a dark-coloured Nissan Patrol.

Police urge anyone with information, relevant dashcam footage or who saw a vehicle matching this description in the area at the time to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
