Last week our community was hit by severe hail storms in a harsh reminder that storm season has begun.
We’re extremely grateful for the work of our local SES who’ve been on the ground and responding to over 2900 requests for assistance since Saturday.
They’ve also been joined by SES crews from across the country, including crews from South Australia and Northern NSW who’ve come to assist our community in its time of need.
Some of the work these SES crews are carrying out is very complex work at height, which does take time, however they are working as quickly and safely as possible.
Thank you to everyone who’s been patient as the SES work their way through, trying to prioritise those who need it most.
