Party house gets too big for couple

Part adventurer, part rev-head, part party animal – the different sides of Eagleby couple Bruce and Wendy (surname withheld by request) are reflected in their home.

The couple have entertained their children and grandchildren in their spacious Eagleby home for over 17-years, but now they’re putting those days behind them as they list the riverfront party house for sale.

It’s now time to downsize.

“Our highlights of living here have been our afternoon walks in the Eagleby Wetlands and the wonderful sense of community in our street,” they said.

“We have loved entertaining our family and friends in our downstairs ‘party area’ where we can watch the children and grandchildren playing footy and cricket on the lawn and in the cooler months finish the day off sitting around the fire.

“We hope the new owners will enjoy living in the property as much as we have.”

Standing on a 4933 square metre block, the couple’s riverside residence – at 141 Albert Street – features its own pontoon, a double shed and garage, a wet bar with a huge party area, an outdoor entertaining deck, and a media room.

Agent Alison Russell from Real Property Vibe said it is a magnificent property, and the photos just don’t do it justice.

“As a real estate agent, you don’t often get to present a property that has so much to offer. A spacious, beautifully presented home on just over an acre on the Albert River with your very own pontoon,” she said.

Ms Russell said the property’s position is superb too, being close to the M1.

The property is surrounded by nature with a close walk to Eagleby Wetlands and Logan River Parklands, but also a short drive to the Beenleigh CBD.
