The Springwood Church’s Community Group recently celebrated a remarkable milestone – its 40th anniversary and it wishes to celebrate by welcoming new members.
The group meets every Tuesday morning from 10.00am to 12.30pm at the Ivan Lovell Hall at Springwood SDA Church.
Members embark on a range of activities and programs, including hearing from guest speakers, attending sessions and workshops, as well as heading out for bus trips and playing games.
They also raise funds for a variety of charities, including Animal Welfare, Mission Possible, Braille House, and for drought-affected farmers.
Their most recent endeavour was their “Biggest Morning Tea” fundraiser for the Cancer Council, where $1250 was raised through donations and plant sales.
