The Crestmead PCYC last Thursday hosted an R U OK Day event in an effort to let the community know: “there is help available”.
The PCYC joined forces with local support services to “show the community how much support is out there”, the PCYC Breaking the Cycle co-ordinator Joanne Bartolo said.
“We’re a community group that holds programs and events that are catered towards both young people and seniors.”
She said mental help was a common theme of struggle for both demographics.
