More than 130 residents and their families have gathered to celebrate Seasons Living Waterford West’s 10th birthday.
There was a high tea on July 1 and live entertainment as part of the festivities.
Stuart and Anne, two residents who have lived at the community since it opened, cut the birthday cake on behalf of the group and led a “happy birthday” sing-along.
“Everyone is so excited that we have been able to celebrate this special milestone together,” community manager Barbara Booth said.
“We haven’t been able to have many events in the last couple of years, so it is wonderful we can all be together to enjoy an afternoon of good food, good company, and dancing.”
There are 150 residents at the community, which has one and two-bedroom apartments for seniors.
