Three generations were terrorised overnight (January 15) in an armed robbery that ended with a gun being fired into the door of a Bryants Road house.
A man, 27, a woman, 44, and two teenage girls, 14 and 15 were at the Loganholme house when three armed men gained entry around 9pm.
Police said they appeared to have a shot gun and two knives.
Queensland Police are investigating and a crime scene has been declared.
The three burglars stole property and money before leaving the house.
While leaving, the shotgun discharged into a door.
Police are appealing to anyone who lives on Bryants Road and who may have heard a loud disturbance at that time, to contact them.
