Bayside police have charged three men from Logan in connection to an alleged armed robbery, during which a man was shot.
At around 1am on 8 December 2025, police allege a group of offenders broke into a property on Mander Court in Wellington Point in Redland, where they confronted a man, 25, inside the house.
Police allege the group shot the man in the foot, before stealing “several items” from the property, including a blue Dodge Ram utility truck, which they used to flee the scene.
The man who sustained non-life-threatening injuries was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Dodge Ram was found, with significant damage, police said, on Railway Parade at Thorneside the next day (9 December).
Police also allege the group stole a white BMW X5, which they also used to flee the Wellington Point scene, from Pioneer Drive at Kuraby on 3 November.
A Marsden man, 30, was arrested at a Maple Street address on 12 December and charged with four offences, including armed robbery, assault and dangerous driving.
He is expected to appear in Cleveland Magistrates’ Court on 20 January 2026.
Two other men, from Crestmead (28) and Waterford West (29), were arrested at a Waterford West Shopping Centre at around 3.30pm on 7 January.
Both men were charged with armed robbery, assault, dangerous driving and drug possession. They were expected to appear in Cleveland and Beenleigh Magistrates Courts on 8 January.
In connection with the incident, police searched an address on Wellington Circuit, Yarrabilba, where they allegedly located “drug items, firearms parts and two .22 calibre rounds.”
Police said the incident was targeted and that there was no ongoing threat to the public.
Investigations continue.
