Pedestrian hit by unregistered trail bike, Loganlea

A man has been hospitalised after he was hit by an unregistered trailbike at Loganlea.

According to police, who are investigating the crash, an unregistered trailbike was traveling north on Kingston Road on Tuesday at around 5.40pm when it “collided with a pedestrian” at the intersection with Battle Street.

“The trailbike failed to remain on scene,” police said in a statement.

The pedestrian, a 25-year-old Kingston man, was seriously injured and taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV vision, particularly the movements of the unregistered trailbike, prior to and after the crash, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.

  1. Police in Logan are scarce , if here are any at all . Seems police arnt around anymore . So many trail bikes running around back streets . Hoons in general and speeding cars running red traffic lights are common these days .
