A local business hoped a brand-new sign would be a drawcard, but for very different reasons than it has been.
Roberto’s Cheesecakes on the Pacific Highway purchased a new sign just over a year ago.
But the signwriter didn’t quite fulfil the brief.
An “e” was left out, and the misspelling is still showcased in all of its glory.
One local said she had chuckled over the error on more than one occasion.
“I go past it every day and I’d never noticed,” she said.
“But it’s not something you can easily unsee.”
An employee at the store confirmed the designer of the sign made a mistake, and suggested the owner thinks the sign is worth living with.
