Loganholme-based real estate agent Ruth Ellison, along with six others in the region, have been awarded fellowships by the Real Estate Institute of Queensland.
The title is awarded to practising agents who have completed a total of 15 years membership with the REIQ.
Ms Ellison has been the director of Ellison Specialised Properties, a family-owned business, for more than 15 years,
The Loganholme business started in 1970s, focussing on commercial and industrial property sales, leasing and management.
“We also provide professional expertise in the following areas in order to best serve a broad range of client needs,” the company’s website said.
These range from property development and town planning, to project management and auctioneering services.
CEO Antonia Mercorella said fellowships were a “mark of distinction that recognised outstanding professionals”.
“This accolade is a testament to those in our profession with long-standing dedication to professional excellence and betterment of the real estate industry,” Ms Mercorella said.
“Fellows are a valuable part of our dynamic association that’s proudly dedicated itself to advancing the real estate profession across Queensland for more than a century.
“The appointment of new Fellows continues this tradition, celebrating those who exemplify the qualities we hold in high regard.

She said Ms Ellison helped elevate the standards of the real estate industry through her “exemplary service”.
