Connecting communities for conservation

Logan’s annual Eco Forum aims to bring the community together for a series of free sessions to learn, collaborate and build connections that enhance Logan’s natural environment.

The theme of this year’s forum, held throughout June, is ‘Our Nature Spaces’.

Attendees will learn how to create nature spaces at home with activities such as DIY wildlife homes, and they will hear from expert speakers on planting gardens that benefit households and local wildlife.

Guest speakers include Platypus Watch ecologist and researcher, Tamielle Brunt, and Greenpeace and WWF science communicator and ambassador, Laura Wells.

There will also be a chance to meet native animals, and the recipients of Logan City Council’s 2023 EnviroGrants will be revealed.

Main events include: ‘Creating our Nature Spaces – Activity Day’ on Saturday 10 June; and ‘Celebrate our Nature Spaces – Community Celebration’ on Friday 23 June.
