Four businesses have been destroyed after a building caught on fire and collapsed in Boronia Heights overnight.
Police believe the fire started in the Fredrick Street building around 1.15am.
According to a QFES spokesperson, the first fire crew got there around 1.40am and the fire was under control by 3.10am.
The spokesperson said about 50 per cent of the single-level building was damaged by the fire, causing the roof to collapse.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with further information or anyone with relevant vision of the area to contact police.
