People were once attracted to New Beith for the quiet, isolated, rural lifestyle it enabled.
Now, new and emerging infrastructure means the suburb has a whole lot more to offer, according to a local sales agent.
Despite this, acreage blocks remain accessible.
For example, 55-59 Horseshoe Crescent spans approximately 7842sqm – around 1.9 acres – of cleared land.
“The property offers very comfortable living for buyers who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing acreage lifestyle,” Neil Giles from Browns Plains Real Estate said.
“New Beith is a relatively new, acreage suburb – probably 20 years old, which is pretty new.
“A lot of people moved out there because of the acreage lifestyle and there wasn’t anything there.
“But now the infrastructure has started to sneak in with all the development around Pub Lane, and the shops out there which they never had until four or five years ago.”
The Horseshoe Crescent block, located just behind Pub Lane, features a brick and tile home around 238sqm.
“It is five-bedrooms, and the main has an ensuite and walk-in room,” Mr Giles said.
“The other four bedrooms are serviced by a family bathroom, one of which is ensuited to that bathroom – it’s a two-way bathroom.
“Living areas comprise of a lounge room and an open-plan, tiled family room and kitchen.”
He said the kitchen was a good size, as was the indoor laundry.
“Outside there is a covering entertainment area which overlooks an inground saltwater pool, which is solar heated for lengthening the swimming season.
“It has a six-by-six-metre shed, and a couple of garden sheds.
“It also has a triple garage on the house with internal access.”
The space, the bedrooms, the outdoor entertainment – Mr Giles said the home was perfect for a large family.
“Or an investor if somebody wants an investment,” he said.
While the neighbourhood is full of families, Mr Giles said some people use the extra space to run their own business.
“If you have something like an earth moving business, there is room if you have truck with a Bobcat or something,” he said.
“And it has five bedrooms – it is a really good size.
“It’s not a small house by any means and it is in really good condition.
55-59 Horseshoe Crescent is going to auction on Saturday 23 November at 1.30pm.
There will be open homes every Saturday until then, between 1pm and 1.30pm.
