It’s a growing trend for families to pamper themselves at Christmas by avoiding the preparation, serving and cleaning up of Christmas Day luncheon.
The team at Club Beenleigh is preparing for the feast.
The affordable buffet offers two sittings, from 11.30am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3pm, with all the festive season table favourites.
This year, the traditional roast meats of oven roasted turkey; honey and jam glazed black forest ham on the bone; sea salt and seeded mustard beef will be accompanied with an array of fresh salads, seasonal roast vegetables and trimmings.
Start the feast with antipasto platters, freshly shucked oysters and ocean fresh Cairns tiger prawns.
There will also be Thai seafood curry, chicken tikka masala, crumbed and battered fish. And don’t forget festive dessert, cheese, fruit and nuts to finish.
Popular local entertainer Michael Pack will create a festive mood with lots of Christmas carols and songs through both sittings.
