A targeted police operation across Logan has resulted in 94 charges against 14 people, including six young people.
Queensland Police’s State Flying Squad completed an eight-day deployment in Logan earlier this month, providing additional officers and investigative support to local police.
Eight adults were charged with 73 offences, while six young people faced a combined 21 charges.
Police also arrested a 26-year-old Buccan man wanted on a return-to-prison warrant for drug and property offences.
Officers from the State Flying Squad worked alongside local police, PolAir and the Public Safety Response Team to locate the man.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in Beaudesert Magistrates Court on November 24.
State Flying Squad Detective Inspector Joe Nixon said the additional resources helped police locate and arrest repeat offenders.
“Removing serious repeat offenders from the streets goes a long way towards reducing the number of victims of crime in a community,” he said.
