A ninth person has been charged with murder over the death of a 21-year-old man following a disturbance at Bahrs Scrub in July.
Queensland Police said officers were called to Discovery Boulevard about 2.16am on 26 July, where a Redbank Plains man was later found nearby with significant head injuries.
He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition and died from his injuries on 1 August.
Eight people had previously been charged with murder following investigations by Logan Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit.
Police said a ninth person, a 17-year-old Inala boy, was charged with murder on 16 September.
He is due to appear in Beenleigh Children’s Court on 17 September.
Detectives said community information and cooperation had played an important role in the investigation.
Investigations are continuing.
