Two people are expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today charged with the murder of a 46-year-old man who was reported missing from Beenleigh in March 2022.
Queensland Police have charged a 52-year-old Bethania man and a 45-year-old Windaroo woman with one count each of murder and interfere with a corpse after allegedly finding human remains at a property on Old Trafford Road at Bethania yesterday.
Police were executing a search warrant at the address, following extensive investigations over the past four years.
A crime-scene has been established at the address and detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch remain at the scene.
The remains are believed to be those of Beenleigh man Chad Bishop, who was last seen at Beenleigh South on 3 March, 2022.
Investigations continue.
