Logan detectives have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with investigations into a series of alleged knife threats, car thefts and a crash across Park Ridge and Marsden.
Queensland Police said the incidents began about 8pm on Tuesday 7 July, when a man approached a 19-year-old woman at a service station on Chambers Flat Road, Park Ridge.
Police say the man threatened her with a knife and demanded the keys to her Mazda.
The woman ran inside the service station and was not physically injured.
Police said the man then threatened a 44-year-old driver with the knife and stole his silver Ford Falcon.
About 20 minutes later, the Ford was involved in a three-car crash on Chambers Flat Road at Marsden.
Police allege the man fled on foot before approaching a 33-year-old man sitting in a grey Nissan X-Trail at a nearby shopping centre car park.
The 33-year-old was threatened and assaulted before the Nissan was stolen.
He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Logan Hospital.
Police have now released an image of a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.
Anyone who recognises the man, or has relevant CCTV, dashcam footage or other information, has been urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
